Taking a break from bottle shots, vineyard photography, or real estate photography doesn’t me I am not taking pictures! One thing is for certain—photographers, like everyone else, have family, and, like everyone else’s family, mine sometimes need portraits. Who do they call on? The photographer in the family…and, in my case, that’s me!
My aunt Lisa, (actually my wife’s aunt, but I consider her my aunt, too) is about to have a book published, (in addition to being a successful attorney) and she needed a portrait not only for her book but also for her business profile.
It was a fun day. She brought two of her sons and they, with the help of my wife, played art directory while I played with the light and Lisa did her best to listen to everyone.
In the end, we all agreed (with one exception!) that this was the best shot!
